E172: The Episode Where the Horrorble Podcast Talks About Horror Movies as Usual Except this Time All of the Movies Have Unusually Long Titles Episode

This week the spooky boys decided to push the stupidity in picking a theme to the absolute limit by choosing to review three films that pushed their title length to the absolute limit. First we listen to scary poetry and question the nature of a haunted house in I am the Pretty Thing that Lives in the House (2016). Next, we question the nature of film making and existence itself in The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!? (1964). Finally, we know it's only fringe at best but we really couldn't resist talking about I Don't Feel at Home in this World Anymore (2017).

With the Insidious franchise (possibly?) coming to a close this year, the spooky boys decided, for better or worse, to review all four films in one episode! First, we slip into the further and fight with our favorite Darth Maul Demon Boy in Insidious (2010). Next, we fight with our favorite Bad Dad Patrick Wilson in Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013).  We take a sharp turn and team up to fight  MORE demons with our new favorite horror bad ass Elise in Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015). Finally, we leave our basements and head to the theater for the sequel to the prequel, Insidious: The Last Key (2018). (Due to the nature of reviewing four movies in the same series, minor spoiler warning for 2,3 and 4!)

Finally, we violate all social norms with mother! (2017). (Spoiler warning for mother! from 1:12:04 to 1:29:35)

Next, we crawl into seed pods and allow better versions of ourselves to replace us in Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956). Finally, we try to figure out which one of us is a real human (just kidding that's not in the original!) in The Thing from Another World (1951).

E155: The TV Anthology Episode

This week the Spooky Boys get their binge on and check out 2 episodes each from 4 different horror anthology TV series. First we take a deep dive into the pool of 90's nostalgia with Are You Afraid of the Dark (1990-200). Next, we take a peek at Romero's world not-so-brightly-lit, Tales from the Darkside (1983-1988).  An amazingly bad CG intro gets us in the mood for Amazing Stories (1985-1987). Finally, we see what the horror "masters" can do with an anthology in Masters of Horror (2005-2007).
